Auckland Branch New Zealand Geographical Society Book Celebration was held in December 2005. This activity was intended to make visible a range of books published by New Zealand Geographic Society members based on research and scholarship over the period 2003 - 2005. These books reflect our contribution to international geographic knowledge and set fine examples of how New Zealand based geographers can, through their research and scholarship, add to the international literature. This event was very successful and offered an opportunity to both acknowledge the authors achievements and to exchange writing and publishing experience with members. A full list of books included in the celebration.

If you publish a book which would be of interest to the geographic community in New Zealand please send us the details.
